Privacy Policy
This policy explains what TrackID collects and why. We aim to collect as little as possible.
What we store
- Anonymous contributor id: a random id stored in your browser so you can propose track IDs, vote, and follow artists without an account. It is not tied to your identity.
- Email (optional): only if you opt in to email alerts (new mixes from an artist you follow, an Open ID you watch being named). Every alert carries a one-click unsubscribe link.
- Usage events: page views, link clicks and contributions are stored as individual events with a one-way hash of your anonymous id (so we can see whether people come back), the page, and the referring site or campaign. No IP address, name or email is stored with them. Google Analytics only loads if you allow it.
- Submissions: mix URLs you analyze and messages you send us.
What we don’t do
We do not sell personal data. Outbound store links may be affiliate links; clicking them is recorded only as an aggregate count.
Your choices
Clear your browser storage to reset your anonymous id. To stop email alerts, use the unsubscribe link in any alert, unfollow the artist, or contact us. For data or content removal, see the removal page.
